Feb 2012 Meeting
Calgary Photographic Society Members,
The theme for February's meeting is Shadows. You can bring in one image for the theme and one image in the open category. Get out and get shooting.
Our speaker for the month of February is Greg Nuspel. Greg will be giving a presentation on panorama photography. I look forward to Greg's presentation and thank him for taking the time to come and share his knowledge with us. Thanks Greg.
February is Exposure month. There are workshops, gallery showings and presentations in Calgary, Canmore and Banff the whole month of February. You can check out a complete listing of events at http://www.exposurephotofestival.com/. Be sure to take in some of the events.

The next meeting is February 1st at the University of Calgary in the Kinesiology building room KNB-133. Socializing starts at 7:00pm with the meeting starting at 7:30pm.
November 1st, 2011 Meeting
Just a reminder for the meeting this Wednesday Nov. 2nd @ 7:30pm. The meeting is in our regular room, KNB-133 at the University in the Kinesiology building.

Make sure you bring your prints for the print critique. The theme for this month is Fruit. You can bring 1 theme print and 1 print for the open category. It's never to late to get those prints ready.
May 4th, 2011 Meeting
Our next meeting is this coming Wednesday May 4 @ 7:30 pm. The meeting is in our regular room, KNB-133 at the University of Calgary in the Kinesiology building.
This month Mike Roest and Jeff Clement will be discussing their adventures into high-speed photography and how they take images like the following.
The theme for May is Action. Get your prints together and bring them in for a critique. The theme for June is Clouds. There have been some good ones out there lately. Get out there and get some for June's meeting.
April 2011 Meeting
Our next meeting is this coming Wednesday April 6 @ 7:30 pm. The meeting is in our regular room, KNB-133 at the University in the Kinesiology building.
Our speaker for the meeting will be Megan Kozak. Megan will be one of our models for our Glamour Workshop. She will be giving us some insight on model/photographer working relationships. Megan has asked me to ask you for some questions you may have about working with models. That way she will know what to talk about and be more prepared. March 2011 Meeting

Make sure you bring your prints for the print critique. The theme for this month is Bridges. You can bring 1 theme print and 1 print in the open category. You still have time to get those prints done. Don't let the cold weather keep you from getting those great shots.
